Logan Utah PDF Print E-mail
Logan Utah is nestled on the eastern edge of Cache Valley with a population around 50,000. Logan is located on the western slopes of the Wasatch Range and is approximately an hour and a half drive from Utah’s capital, Salt Lake City. Because Logan has mountains on both sides of the valley, many people consider Logan to be the most beautiful city in Utah. Here you can find a link to the Logan Utah main website.

Logan Canyon

There are many things to do in Logan. Probably the most popular is taking advantage of beautiful Logan Canyon. Logan Canyon is a national scenic byway that stretches from Garden City to Logan. The Logan River runs parallel to the route.

Cache Valley Transit District

Logan Utah has many unique features for such a low population town. For example, Logan is home to the Cache Valley Transit District (CVTD), a fare-free bus system that has routes all across Cache Valley. The CVTD began service in 1992 for residents of Logan, consisting of seven 26 foot buses and six routes. Logan residents quickly showed their support for the bus, which broke the 1 million riders in a year mark in 1996. The CVTD extended their service times and increased the number of routes. In 1997, the CVTD purchased eleven new 32-foot buses and in 2001 built a new Transit Center at 150 East and 500 North.
